2020 Point Show Cancelled

Due to the current community restrictions and uncertainties with Coronavirus, the show committee has decided to cancel the 2020 Point Show.

Given the amount of planning and financial outlays needed at an early stage there is no certainty we would be able to run a show.

For now there are more pressing issues of supporting each other and the community.

Section organisers are requested to attend this meeting to discuss any changes to classes for this years show.

Poster Boards

Poster Board 2019

Poster Boards promoting the annual Point Show were placed in the district of Point in the run up to the 2019 show on 13th July.

Point Agricultural Society engaged in a community involvement initiative with the children in Sgoil an Rubha to create poster boards with an agricultural theme.
Children came up with ideas and artwork then painted boards before the school closed for the Holidays. The artwork will also appear on the cover of next year’s show catalogue.

Elspeth Walker from Flesherin sponsored the project covering the cost of materials.
