Competition Rules 2024

On Show Day all exhibits must be in place by the following times:
Horse Show by 11:00am
Dog Show (Section 11) by 1:30pm
Cattle (Sections 2) by 12:30pm
Sheep (Section 3) by 11:30; Judging starts at 12:00pm with suspension for
official opening at 1.00pm
Indoor sections (sections 4-10) by 11:00am
5k run by 13:30pm
Late entries will not be accepted in any section or class

This class is run under the auspices of the Young Crofters Group, and will be stewarded by their representatives. The age limit is 30 and under. The class is being accommodated at each district show for competitors within their area. For Point Show, therefore, this class is restricted to young crofters from a holding within the Stornoway Trust catchment area (Stornoway to Tolsta, Stornoway & Point). The winner of this class will be eligible to compete in the Championship final; the location and date of which will be confirmed in due course.
